Manchester City to make second Kevin de Bruyne bid

Manchester City kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 victory over West Brom last night, and their front line looked absolutely deadly. However Manuel Pellegrini clearly wants more additions to his side, as he eyes another bid for Kevin de Bruyne.

The Wolfsburg man was subjected to an opening bid of over £40million from The Citizens, but according to The Guardian, the Etihad based side are prepared to make another offer worth over £47million for the man Chelsea let go just last year.

Since his move to Wolfsburg, the 24-year old has been lighting up the Bundesliga with stunning performances week-in week-out for both club and country, but £47million for one good season does seem to be a bit steep.

Personally I’d like to see him stay with Wolfsburg for another season and see how he does, and if he continues to impress then Manchester City should make the move for the Belgian.
