Manchester City to let Joe Hart leave on the cheap

Manchester City are willing to ‘do right’ by Joe Hart by allowing him to leave on the cheap.

The England goalkeeper has been shipped out on loan to Italian club Torino on a season long loan after being told by Pep Guardiola he is not a part of his plans at the club.

Despite having three-years left on his £120,000-a-week contract which would see the ‘keeper earn almost £18million, as a gesture of good will towards Hart, Manchester City will recognise his years of loyal service by paying half of his contract for a year and allowing him to leave on the cheap.

A club source told The Sun:

City would be willing to pay him off around half that figure and also be ‘considerate’ towards his selling price.

They are also willing to bankroll half his present wages for 12 months and revisit the severance situation next summer.

Both parties are operating on surprisingly cordial terms.

It is thought that Manchester City will allow Hart to leave the club for around £9million where there is likely to be far more interest next year than was the case this summer.

Meanwhile, he has the chance to keep his place in the England squad as well as develop his game whilst out on loan at the Serie A club.
