Manchester City star man out for 10 weeks

Manchester City’s summer signing, Kevin de Bruyne has taken to Twitter this evening to confirm that his knee injury is worse than feared and will keep him out of action for 10 weeks or so.

The Belgian was injured in last nights Capital One Cup Semi Final second leg victory over Everton. De Bruyne fell awkwardly and had to be stretched from the pitch.

The club initially thought their £55million man would be out for about 6 weeks, but earlier this evening, Kevin de Bruyne updated the world through his official Twitter page about the severity of his knee ligament damage.

Kevin de Bruyne (@DeBruyneKev) confirms he will be out for around 10 weeks.
