Manchester City close to completing Claudio Bravo signing

Manchester City’s move for Claudio Bravo has taken a step closer as the goalkeeper has travelled to Manchester to have a medical.

The Barcelona goalkeeper is on his way to England as the deal to take him to Manchester a City edges closer, in a move that will also signal the end of Joe Harts career as Manchester City’s first choice ‘keeper.

The England goalkeeper has been dropped for Manchester City’s opening three competitive matches under Pep Guardiola, with Willy Caballero being preferred between the sticks.

However Bravo’s imminent arrival at the Etihad will relegate Joe Hart to being City’s third choice goalkeeper.

Everton have been linked with making a move for the 29-year old, but reports today suggest that they have sensationally dropped their interest after Manchestet City are demanding a £7million loan fee. This, combined with Hart’s £135,000-a-week wage demands, may have seen Ronald Koeman to end his interest.

Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked having an interest.
