Manchester City look set to splash the cash again this week as they close in on a £40million signing.
The Sun claims that Manchester City could clinch the signing of Schalke starlet Leroy Sané as early as tomorrow, however it is currently been held up by a late offer from Pep Guardiola’s former club, Bayern Munich.
Guardiola is keen on adding more pace to his ranks and sees the 20-year old as the ideal addition to his Manchester City squad.
However, Bayern Munich have made a similar offer for the young German, but have offered him the chance to STAY at Schalke for one more season before finally moving to Munich next summer, after Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery have departed.
However, despite the opportunity to stay in his homeland, it is thought that City will win the race to sign he forward, who is currently on international duty at Euro 2016.
