Man Utd fear Mourinho exit

Manchester United fear that Jose Mourinho is about to sensationally quit the club at the end of the season.

Mourinho, who very rarely stays in a job for more than three seasons, has spoken out recently about not being able to match the financial clout of their title rivals Manchester City.

Now, with United sitting 15 points behind City in the Premier League, Old Trafford bosses are fearing the Portuguese boss will quit the club at the end of the season.

According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho has cut an increasingly isolated figure in recent months, with his trips back to London to visit his family becoming increasingly more frequent.

His wife, Matilde, never left the capital when Jose became Manchester United manager, with her husband living in a Manchester hotel since his appointment at the club 18-months ago.

Club officials have been left fearing that Mourinho has developed his ‘three-year syndrome’ a year earlier than usual.

He has previously been linked with taking over as Paris Saint-Germain boss.
