Bordeaux winger Malcom has revealed that he wanted to make the ‘dream’ move to the Premier League.
The youngster was heavily linked with a move to the English top flight last month, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United all being linked with a move for the player.
Spurs turned their attentions to Lucas Moura, who moved to North London from PSG on Deadline day while Arsenal signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Speaking to Telefoot, the Brazilian said:
“It’s my dream to progress in my career.
“I spoke to the president, he told me that he knew it was my dream, but that he needed me.
“I told him he could count on me until the end of the season, I will do everything to help Bordeaux finish in the top six in Ligue 1.”
His comments do seem to indicate that he will be one of the top stories in the summer.
