Louis van Gaal did not tender his Manchester United resignation

Late last night there were several reports emerging suggesting that Louis van Gaal has offered his Manchester United resignation to Edward Woodward on several occasions, but the club Vice-Chairman rejected them. However that seems to just be paper talk, as according to the BBC, the Iron Tulip hasn’t done such thing.

They say that the rumours are false, and Van Gaal firmly believes in his ability to turn the situation around at Old Trafford, and he believes he isn’t going anywhere until the summer at the very least.

This season has been a horror show for Manchester United, with the side currently sitting five points off the pace in terms of a Champions League berth, as well as already being dumped out of Europe’s premier competition at the group stage.
