Liverpool have been dealt a blow in the transfer market as one of Jurgen Klopp’s main targets has signed for Napoli.
Piotr Zielinski has decided to remain in Serie A as he completes his transfer from Udinese to Napoli.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had been a long term admirer of the 22-year old, who was a part of Poland’s Euro 2016 campaign in France this summer.
A statement on the Napoli website read:
Napoli communicates that it has signed the sporting contract of Piotr Sebastian Zielinski, from Udinese.
It is believed that the deal to take Zielinski to Naples is worth around €10million, and he joins his fellow Polish international Arkadiusz Milik who also joined the club earlier this week.
