Liverpool to move for Bayern Munich star

Liverpool are ready to make a move for Bayern Munich star Renato Sanches according to reports in Germany.

Kicker are reporting that the Premier League club are ready submit a bid for the young Portuguese midfielder, although a loan move is most likely.

Bayern are believed to be ready to let the midfielder leave the club this summer, with Manchester United, Chelsea and AC Milan also having been interested.

Sanches was heavily linked to Manchester United last summer but the delay in announcing Jose Mourinho’s appointment, allowed Bayern to move in a clinch a deal.

He was one of Portugals star performers at last summers European Championship, but struggled to make an impact during his debut campaign. He made just 25 appearances in all competitions, failing to score a single goal.

Jurgen Klopp is looking to strengthen his squad before the transfer deadline passes next Thursday, and still faces the prospect of possibly losing Philippe Coutinho who is keen on a move Barcelona having already handed in a transfer request.
