Liverpool star Jordan Henderson says thats Mohamed Salah and Luis Suarez simply cannot be compared, despite their phenomenal impact on the team.
Salah has been in simply sensational form this season, scoring 36 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions for the Reds despite only joining the club last summer.
The way that he has been so influential for Liverpool have left some to compare him to Luis Suarez, who led the line so impressively for the club between 2011 and 2014, before making a £75 million move to Barcelona.
However, club captain Jordan Henderson, who has worked with both players, says that it is unfair to compare them, despite their similar styles:
“They are both fantastic players in their own right and you can’t compare them,” Henderson said.
“They are different players. I know they score a lot of goals and both work hard off the ball but it is very difficult to make that comparison.
“Luis moved on to Barcelona and is doing fantastically well. He is a fantastic player who I was privileged to play with.
“But Mo this season has been unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. He is doing it every week, without fail.”
Salah’s latest performance saw him involved in all five of Liverpool’s goals in the 5-0 win over Watford, scoring four and assisting the other, taking him to 28 Premier League goals for the season, four more than Harry Kane.
