Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with a move for Manchester City outcast Joe Hart.
Hart has been pushed out of the picture at Manchester City since the arrival of Pep Guardiola who has brought in both Claudio Bravo and Ederson Moraes as his replacement. The England international has subsequently been sent out on loan, firstly to Serie A side Torino last season, before returning to the Premier League to join West Ham United, also on loan.
However, he has been dropped by new Hammers boss David Moyes, who has opted to reinstate Adrian as the clubs first choice goalkeeper in recent weeks and has been left sweating on his place in the England squad.
Now, speaking to The Sun, a source close to Manchester City said that he is considering his next move, and specifically credited Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea with having an interest:
“Joe will do what is right for him and his young family.
“He long accepted his Man City career is over and values playing above everything else.
“There is still some chatter Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea could be interested but he’s been around long enough not to be waiting by the phone.
However, he also added that he hasn’t ruled out the option of heading back abroad after enjoying his spell in Italy.
“He loved his experience of playing on the Continent and wouldn’t rule anything out at this stage.”
Liverpool’s goalkeeping issues have been much publicised, while both Arsenal and Chelsea could be in the market to replace their current first choice ‘keepers. Arsenal’s Petr Cech is seemingly in decline, while Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
