Liverpool have accepted a £13million from Stoke City for Wales midfielder Joe Allen.
The midfielder was one of the star players at Euro 2016 and enjoyed a renaissance in form under Jurgen Klopp.
However with just one year remaining on hos contract and with thr German manager unable to guarentee him a regular starting position at Anfield this season, Allen has decided to move on.
His former club Swansea were believed to be the front runners, whilst Sevilla and surprisingly Manchester United have also been linked with making a move.
However it is Mark Hughes’ Stoke City that have taken the early lead in the race after seeing his £13million bid accepted.
