Juventus to complete signing of £10m Arsenal outcast

Juvetus are to complete the signing of Wojciech Szczesny from Arsenal according to reliable sources in Italy.

Fabriano Romano, who is a journalist for Sky Sports Italia and the Guardian, claims that the deal to take the goalkeeper to the Serie A champions is a ‘done deal’.

The Poland international is expected to arrive in Italy soon to complete the move, which is apparently valued at €11m (£10m).

Szczesny was widely criticised during his time at the Emirates, and has since spent two years on loan at fellow Serie A club Roma, where he made 81 appearances as the clubs first choice goalkeeper.

He now will move to Turin to try to dislodge club legend Gianluigi Buffon, who is nearing he end of his long and illustrious career.

Arsenal do not need to sign any replacements for the 27-year-old, as they already have Petr Cech and David Ospina as number one and two in the goalkeeping department.
