Inter Milan beat clubs from around Europe to sign Brazilian wonderkid

Inter Milan have beaten off competition to sign Brazilian sensation Gabriel Barbosa.

Barbosa, also known as Gabigol, has attracted attention from Barcelona, Manchester United, Juventus and Leicester City, but has chosen to move to Milan to play for the Nerrazzuri.

Sources in Italy confirm that Barbosa has flown to Milan to complete his medical and finalise the paperwork ahead of the transfer.

He has recently become an Olympic Gold medalist following his countries triumph at the Olympic games in his home country.

The fee to take Gabigol from Santos to the San Siro is believed to be in the region of €25million.

Inter are also close to announcing the signing of Portugal and Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Mario who has rejected the chance to join Chelsea.
