Huge U-turn as Barcelona beat Real Madrid to Euro 2016 star

Barcelona have pulled off one of the biggest transfer U-turns as they announce they have come to an agreement over the transfer of André Gomes from Valencia.

In the process, they have beaten their bitter rivals Real Madrid to the signature of the Portugese midfielder, who was a part of the victorious Portuguese squad at Euro 2016 which ended just less than two weeks ago.

The fee to take Gomes from Valencia to Barcelona is believed to be €50million, and the midfielder will sign a five-year contract at the Nou Camp.
