Griezmann admits Man Utd move is a possibility

Antoine Griezmann has admitted that a transfer to Manchester United is a possibility.

The Atletico Madrid forward was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer, but ultimately decided to stay in Spain following the club’s transfer ban. The ban would have prevented Los Rojiblanco’s from signing a replacement for the Frenchman until January, and he admitted that leaving would have been a ‘dirty trick’.

However, speaking in his biography, Griezmann has admitted that a move to the Premier League giants could still happen in the future:

“I have nothing against England, apart from the weather, Manchester United is a possibility.

“In June 2017 I prolonged my contract. I am tied to the club until 2022.

“Although I missing titles, here I have everything to be happy. This does not mean they do not go away one day.

“I have not made a decision. It all depends on several factors.

“As much as I repeat that I am delighted at Atlético, I have a great coach and great teammates, they regularly ask me about my future.

“But I do not exclude anything.”

Griezmann has been in pretty poor form so far this season, failing to score in his last eight matches, and being booed by home supporters in the recent Madrid Derby.

Aside from Manchester United, the Frenchman has also been linked with a moves to Barcelona, PSG and Real Madrid.
