Four Premier League clubs target prolific Championship striker

Leeds striker Chris Wood is the target for four Premier League clubs who are all looking to add goals to their lineups ahead of next season.

The New Zealand international was the Championship’s top scorer, scoring 27 goals in what was a prolific campaign at Elland Road.

However, despite his goals, Leeds season ended in disappointment as they missed out on the play-offs altogether, despite the good form throughout the majority of the season.

Is ability to find the back of the net has left a number of Premier League clubs sniffing around the 25-year-old.

The Sun claims that West Ham, Southampton, Swansea and Stoke City are all interested in signing the striker this summer.

A number of Chinese clubs were interested in signing Wood in January, and it would be a big surprise not to see the striker make a move to the top flight of English football.

He is valued at around £20million.
