Four clubs line up to sign Fellaini

Four clubs are battling to sign Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini according to reports.

The midfielder stunned Old Trafford bosses this week by rejecting a two-year contract to extend his stay at the club, with his contract ticking down towards its expiry in June.

Now, according to the Daily Express, four clubs from around Europe are battling to sign the Belgian.

He has been heavily linked with a move to Turkey throughout the last few transfer windows, with Besiktas publicly stating their interest in signing the former Everton man.

Aside from Besiktas, the report claims Inter Milan, Valencia and Arsenal are all interested in signing the soon to be 30-year-old, who would be available on a free transfer next summer.

Fellaini had a difficult start to life at Manchester United following his £27.5m move from Goodison Park. He became a symbol of everything that was going wrong at Old Trafford in the post Sir Alex Ferguson years, but has surprisingly gone on to turn it around, becoming a favourite of Jose Mourinho and the fans alike.
