Everton have made a late approach for Lokomotiv Moscow striker Oumar Niasse and hope to finalise a £13.5m deal before the transfer deadline arrives at 11pm on Monday night.
Roberto Martinez is looking to add more firepower to his squad, after letting Steven Naismith leave for Norwich. According to The Sun, The 25-year old would also be a replacement for Romelu Lukaku should he leave in the summer, after being linked with a move to Manchester United or Paris St-Germain.
Everton have also been linked with Andriy Yarmolenko but a deal is proving a source of frustration for the Toffees.
Senegal international, Niasse has scored 12 goals in 21 appearances for Lokomotiv Moscow this season.
