Everton will be involved in several transfer deals this week, according to several newspapers today. Today’s Daily Star claims that the Goodison Park club will confirm the signing of Leeds United defender, Sam Byram today after the 22 year old agreed terms and passed a medical.
It is believed the transfer fee will be around £3m for the youngster who would have been out of contract in the summer having refused to sign a new deal with the West Yorkshire club.
Everton are also expected to announce the sale of Steven Naismith to Norwich City today after the Scotland International agreed terms and passed a medical, according to the Daily Mirror.
The £8 million fee they will receive from the Canaries will be put towards a bid for Dinamo Kiev player, Andriy Yarmolenko. Martinez is keen to tie up a deal now, rather than wait until after this summers European Championships where his value may increase substantially if he performs well.
