Everton agree £30million deal to sign Euro 2016 star

Everton have agreed a £30million deal to sign Belgium midfielder Axel Witsel according to reports today.

The Daily Express claims that Ronald Koemans men have struck a deal with the midfielders club, Zenit St Perersburg, and have already agreed to pay Witsels £100,000-a-week contract demands.

Chelsea have also been linked with making a move for the Belgian after having no success in their moves for Witsels compatriot Radja Nainggolan, but we brought you reports yesterday that Chelsea are favourites to sign Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante, putting Everton in the driving seat for Witsels signature.

Witsel was involved in Belgiums 3-1 defeat at the hands of Wales last night in Euro 2016, and with his season finally over, a transfer to Goodison Park could be completed in a matter of days.
