Day Five of of Euro 2016, and already we have reached the end of round one of fixtures as the final four teams took center stage.
Despite the majority of the four teams in Group F not being the most glamourous of footballing sides, the two games on show today provided two of the shocks of the tournament.
Austria 0-2 Hungary, Group F
Hungary provided the first big shock of the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Austria. Adam Szalai opened the scoring for the hosts before Zoltan Steiber secured all three points for the underdogs. Austria finished the game with 10-men after Aleksadar Dragovic was sent off for two yellow cards. The result leaves Hungary top of Group F.
Portugal 1-1 Iceland, Group F
One of Europe’s biggest sides faced the tournaments smallest nation in this encounter, but the gulf in size wasn’t reflected in the result as Portugal were held to a 1-1 draw. Former Manchester United winger Nani opened the scoring in the first half, before Birkir Bjarnason drew the minnows level.
