Euro 2016 champion targetted by Everton

One of Portugal’s Euro 2016 heroes is being targetted by Everton to complete a move to the Premier League this summer.

Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio is the latest name to be linked with Everton as Ronald Koeman searches for a new number one at Goodison Park following the departure of Tim Howard. The goalkeeper is thought to be keen on a move to the Premier League, and could be available for just £6million.

Koeman was left with just Joel Robles at the club when he took over last month, and despite signing Marten Stekelenburg, he still wants to strengthen his goalkeeping options further.

Joe Hart, Kasper Schemeichel and Tim Krul are also on the Dutchmans radar.
