Watford have completed the signing of Sunderland goalkeeper, Costel Pantilimon, on a three-and-a-half year deal.
The Romanian moves to Vicarage Road after the the clubs agreed an undisclosed transfer fee. The former Manchester City ‘keeper hasn’t played since 19th December and had fallen behind Jordan Pickford and Vito Manone at the Black Cats.
The 6ft8″ goalkeeper made 49 appearances for Sunderland, since his transfer to the Stadium of Light, 18 months ago.
Watford also completed the signing of Nordin Amrabat from Malaga yesterday.
