DONE DEAL: Swansea seal second deal within 24hours

Swansea City completed their first summer signing yesterday after they confirmed the arrival of Leroy Fer from QPR, and have now backed that up with their second signing within the last 24hours.

The Swans have confirmed the arrival of Ajax defender Mike van der Hoorn, who joins the club for a fee thought to be in the region of €2.5million.

The 23-year old moves to Swansea on a three-year deal, having made 43 appearances for the Eredivisie club, scoring three goals.

He has represented the Netherlands at Under-21 level, but is yet to receive his first full international cap.
