DONE DEAL: Swansea lose another striker

Follow the departure of Alberto Paloschi to Atlanta, Swansea have confirmed that Bafetimbi Gomis has completed a move to Marseille.

The striker completed a season long loan move earlier today after two disappointing season at the Liberty Stadium.

The striker was unable to plug the hole left in the goalscoring department, left by Wilfried Bonys transfer to Manchester City in January 2015 and has now returned to France, where he made his name playing for Lyon.

He scored just 17 goals in 71 games for the Swans, who are now desperately short of attackers and have been linked with a move for Peter Crouch and Fernando Llorente in recent days.
