DONE DEAL: Relegated Redmond secures Southampton switch

England Under 21 winger Nathan Redmond has completed a move from relegated Norwich City to Southampton.

We brought you news yesterday that the 22-year old was having a medical at the South Coast club ahead of an £11million move, a move which was confirmed on Saturday evening.

After his move, Redmond said:

They like to play attacking football and it’s a style I feel I can really fit in well with,

When Southampton said they were interested, it felt like the right move for me. I can develop my game here.

Redmond moved to Norwich back in 2013 from Birmingham City, and will now move to Southampton, where he may be a replacement for Senegalese forward Sadio Mane, who is subject to interest from Liverpool.
