Norwich City have confirmed that they have signed 22-year old striker Patrick Bamford on loan until the end of the season from Chelsea.
The striker moves to Carrow Road for the rest of the season after an unsuccessful loan spell at Crystal Palace was cancelled earlier this month. However Bamford was the Championship player of the season last year, netting 17 times in his 38 league appearances for Middlesborough.
Bamford told the Norwich City website;
I’m really happy to be here, and the sooner I’m able to get involved the better. That’s what I want to do personally, but it’s also about helping Norwich to get the points required to stay in the league.
Norwich manager Alex Neil has already added Steven Naismith to his squad and Bamford’s arrival will further bolster his sides attacking options.
