Burnley have completed a deal for Iceland winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson from Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year old steps up from League 1 to the Premier League after his part in his countries journey to the Euro 2016 quarter-finals, where they beat England along the way.

Upon signing, Gudmondsson said:

The atmosphere around the club is fantastic.

Playing against the team last season Insaw just how good the club was – I definitely wanted to join.
