Manchester United have reportedly rejected two offers for Argentinian defender Marcos Rojo and do not plan on selling him this summer.
Yahoo Sports claim that Manchester United have had two concrete offers for the versatile defender, but have rejected them both as Jose Mourinho is happy with his current squad.
Rojo was utilised as a central defender initially under Louis van Gaal before he was pushed out wide to left back where he filled in for the injured Luke Shaw last season.
Shaw has however completed his comeback from the horrific leg break suffered in last seasons Champions League tie with PSV and effectively relegating Rojo to a spectator role during United’s opening games of the season.
However, with the onset of the Europa League and League cup starting next month, Mourinho has already promised that he will be utilising the whole of his squad and wants to keep Rojo as a backup left back, an area United would be short in without him.
They have already loaned Cameron Borthwick Jackson to Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, with young Joe Riley the only other recognised left back at the club.
