DEAL DONE: Aubameyang completes Arsenal switch

Arsenal have now officially completed the £60 million signing of superstar striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund.

Although no details of personal terms have been released, The Gunners have revealed that he has signed a long-term contract at The Emirates, with the club taking to twitter to announce the deal:

The 28-year-old will arrive in England with the reputation of being one of Europes deadliest hitmen, having notched an impressive 98 goals in 144 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund since moving to Germany from French side Saint Etienne in 2013.

He will join up with his former team-mate at the Westfalonstadion, Henrikh Mkhitaryan who joined the Gunners earlier in the window as part of a swap deal that saw Alexis Sanchez move to Manchester United, and the Armenian attacker had this welcome message for the 28-year-old striker.

Aubameyang will become Arsenal’s record signing, and is famed for his electric pace and lethal finishing ability.

The 28-year-old is also renowned for his flashy lifestyle and love of fast cars. There is little doubt that having such a charismatic character in the Premier League will only add to the overall entertainment factor.
