Chelsea target 'not for sale'

Inter Milan have denied that they have agreed a deal to sell Antonio Candreva to Chelsea.

Reports in Italy this week have suggested that Chelsea have agreed a €25m fee for Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva, a player with whom Antonio aconte has previously worked with during his time as Italian national team manager.

However, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has denied such claims and says the 30-year-old is not for sale. Speaking to Mediaset Premium he said:

“I don’t understand where some of these stories come from,

“Candreva has never been on the market and we have absolutely no intention of selling him.

“The same goes for Perisic, who is an important player and we are currently discussing a new contract with him.”

Candreva only moved to the San Siro last summer in a €22m move from Lazio. He was an integral part of the Nerrazurri side last season, making 45 appearances, scoring eight goals.
