Chelsea submit £38million bid

Chelsea have submitted a huge £38million bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly according to reports in Italy.

The Blues are battling with Everton for the signature of the Senegal international, and have increased their offer for the centre back after their first bid was rejected.

The 25-year old is keen to leave the Serie A club, and has already rejected a new and improved deal. His agent has already confirmed Chelsea’s interest in his client.

Chelsea still want him and there’s time to close the deal.

We’ve decided to leave for economic reasons. After what happened to Higuain, though, Kalidou will not be leaving for Juventus or another competitor.

Napoli are yet to respond to the offer.
