Chelsea striker Diego Costa wants to move back to Atletico Madrid according to the La Liga club’s president Enrique Cerazo.
Spanish publication AS reports that Costa is available for around £39million, £7milliom more than what Chelsea paid for the Spanish striker two years ago.
Costa scored 43 goals in 94 appearances for Atleti before securing a big money move to the Premier League club, where he fired Jose Mourinho’s men to the title in his first season at the club.
Cerazo was caught on camera saying:
We are there, he wants to come. But that is already complicated.
New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen to keep Costa at the club, alongside Eden Hazard, who has already publicly pledged his future to The Blues.
However, if Costa does move back to the Spanish capital, Chelsea will Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani or Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli.
