Chelsea star considering summer departure

Chelsea star Cesc Fàbregas is considering his future at the club after being left on the bench during yesterday’s opening Premier League game.

The Spanish midfielder was a surprise exclusion from Antonio Conte’s first Premier League game in charge, and remained as an unused substitute throughout the 2-1 victory of West Ham.

New summer signing N’Golo Kante started the game at Stamford Bridge which has left Fàbregas considering his future at the club.

According to Spanish publication Sport, he could head back to La Liga with European champions Real Madrid interested in signing the 29-year old.

If the move were to happen, it would certainly raise some eyebrows considering his two spells with Barcelona, although he has already proved in his career that he isn’t afraid to annoy his former fans by moving to Chelsea three years ago, much to the displeasure of Arsenal fans for whom he was a hero of theirs for so long.
