Chelsea linked with shock move for Premier League striker

Chelsea have inquired about the signing of West Ham striker Andy Carroll, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

Big Andy took a break from elbowing defenders in the head recently to put in a match winning two goal performance against West Brom.

The 28-year-old Newcastle born striker has commanded over £50 million worth of transfer fees from his moves to Liverpool and The Hammers, although he has struggled for form and fitness throughout his career.

Despite this of course being silly season for transfer rumours this really has to be one of the most bizarre stories to emerge in quite a while.

The thoughts of Big Andy lining up in Blue in Chelsea’s Champions League tie against Barcelona at the Nou Camp, falling over trying to fit into the intricate passing maneuvers crafted by Hazard, Willian and Pedro, before knocking out Gerard Pique’s two front teeth with a forearm smash really is enough to make any man have a fit of the LOL’s.

Thanks for bringing some light to our morning the Daily Mail you have really outdone yourselves this time.
