Chelsea are being linked with a sensational move for Real Madrid superstar Marco Asensio.
The 21-year-old attacker started this season in blistering form, netting a series of stunning strikes, but he has fallen out of favour with Los Blancos coach Zinedine Zidane and has struggled for regular game time in recent months.
Asensio is a pacy, skilful attacker, who is also blessed with deadly finishing ability, and is the type of top-class player that would improve almost any team.
According to reports in The Mirror, the Spain international is said to be unhappy with his lack of first-team football at the Bernabeu, and Chelsea are said to be monitoring his situation closely with a view to making a £120 million summer move.
If the Stamford Bridge club do make a move for the talented youngster, it could well commence a busy period of transfer dealings between the two clubs, with Real also interested in signing The Blues playmaker Eden Hazard and their goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Both of Chelsea’s Belgium international’s are rumoured to be stalling on signing new deals with the club in order to secure moves to the Spanish capital.
