Chelsea goalkeeper set to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer

Chelsea made the move to bring in Asmir Begovic as a Petr Cech replacement over the summer, but now the Bosnian is set to leave Stamford Bridge just twelve months down the line. According to the Sun, Begovic is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of playing time and has had enough.

No club has been named as a potential suitor for the 28-year old, but you’d imagine he’d like to stay in the Premier League. All the top clubs now seem to have a keeper that will be there for the foreseeable future, but Everton could well be in the market for a new shot-stopper, as Tim Howard isn’t getting any younger.

Begovic is without doubt one of the best, most underrated #1s in the league at the moment, and whoever manages to land his signature will be getting an excellent addition to their squad.
