Chelsea FC to hold emergency board meeting this week

Chelsea Football Club are in dire straits at this moment in time, with Jose Mourinho’s side sitting perilously close to the relegation zone, despite us being midway through December. This has led to questions about his future, and it looks as though the board at Stamford Bridge are starting to doubt ‘the special one’.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea officials will hold an emergency board meeting this week, to discuss the future of Jose Mourinho. Reports have suggested that the Portuguese manager is losing the dressing room, with several players losing faith in their manager.

The feeling seems to be mutual, too, with other publications stating that Mourinho has told several members of the hierarchy, including Roman Abramovich, that he should have sold certain players over the summer – but no individuals were named.
