Chelsea favourites to sign Brazilian attacker

Chelsea have taken the lead in the race to sign Brazilian forward Felipe Anderson according to reports in Italy.

Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Lazio are willing to let their talented winger leave the club this summer for the right price, with Chelsea believed to be most interested.

The Biancocelesti have ‘relaxed their stance’ on the players departure, something they claim which could have something to do with the change of players agent. His new agent, Giuliano Bertolucci is a close associate of Kia Joorabchian, who both have strong ties with new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

The 23-year old was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United last season, with the club confirming they had rejected a massive bid from the Red Devils, but their interest has cooled following their change of manager
