Chelsea eye current Premier League manager as their next permanent boss

Just before the turn of the year, Chelsea Football Club made the bold decision to part with Jose Mourinho, after results at Stamford Bridge simply weren’t good enough. Roman Abramovich decided to bring in Guus Hiddink on an interim basis until the end of the season, whilst the search for a permanent replacement goes on.

According to The Guardian, the Stamford Bridge side are ready to make a bold appointment, by bringing in Stoke City’s Mark Hughes over the summer, as they look set to give the Welshman the biggest job of his career so far.

Personally I think it’d be a shrewd bit of business to bring in Hughes. He clearly has the quality to set up his sides in a certain way, and if you look at some of the players he has managed to lure into Stoke City, imagine what he can do with an unlimited money supply.
