Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd transfer target declared not for sale

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been dealt a blow as Bayern Leverkusen have declared Leon Bailey not for sale.

The three Premier League giants have all been linked with a big-money move for the Jamaican international in January after his excellent performances in the Bundesliga this season.

However, Bayer Leverkusen director Jonas Boldt has moved to quash rumors of his clubs star man Leon Bailey moving to Premier League. In an interview featured in The Sun, Boldt stated:

“Well now the time starts again when there is some insane [transfer] talk,”

“There is no offer for Leon. We have absolutely no thought of selling him. He has a contract until 2022 – and we are on the driver’s seat.”

Bailey is considered to be one of Europe’s most exciting young attackers and his electric pace has led to comparisons with countryman Usain Bolt.

The talented 20-year-old has been in sensational form in the Bundesliga side this season scoring six goals and providing four assists in just 13 appearances.

Although the German side look set to keep hold of their prized asset during the next transfer window his undoubted talent will surely mean a move to a major European club will materialize sooner or later.
