Chelsea agree €25m deal to sign winger

Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva according to reports in Italy.

TuttoMercatoWeb claim that Chelsea have agreed a €25million fee to sign the 30-year-old with who Antonio Conte worked with during his time as Italian manager.

Candreva only moved to the San Siro last summer, but could cut his time with the Italian giants short to work with Conte at Chelsea, where he would be expected to challenge Victor Moses down the right as a right wing back.

Conte is also looking to sign a new left wing back to provide more competition for Marcos Alsonso. He has been heavily linked with a move for Juventus’ Alex Sandro, although a deal has not yet materialised.

Southampton left back, and Chelsea academy graduate Ryan Bertrand has also been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge.
