Chelsea centre back, Kurt Zouma, will face around 6 months on the sidelines after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury during yesterday’s 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United.
Zouma was injured during yesterday’s match when he landed awkwardly following a header.
The following statement was released on the Chelsea website;
Chelsea Football Club’s medical team have diagnosed that Kurt Zouma sustained an injury to his anterior Cruciate ligament during yesterday’s (Sunday) Premier League game against Manchester United.
Kurt will undergo surgery in the next 48 hours and is expected to be out for approximately six months.
We all wish Kurt Zouma a speedy recovery and hope to see him back playing next season.
