Brazil sack Dunga after Copa America elimination

Brazil have sacked manager Dunga following the countries surprise Copa America exit.

The Brazilian team only needed a point against Peru to qualify for the knockout phase of the tournament, but a shock 1-0 defeat meant that the five time World Champions exited the tournament a the Group stages for just the second time in their history.

Dunga was already under pressure coming into this seasons Copa America after a underperforming in their 2018 World Cup qualifiers, and has now been sacked by Brazil for the second time in his career.

Dunga is expected to be replaced by Corinthians manager, Tite, who will take charge of the side at this summer’s Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro.
