Barcelona open talks over €80million transfer target

Reports in Spain suggest that Barcelona have opened talks with Valencia over the transfer of striker Paco Alcacer.

Despite Valencia’s struggles, the Spanish striker scored 13 goals in La Liga last season and has attracted interest from the Premier League

The 22-year old has an €80million release clause, and although it is not expected that Barcelona will have to pay that figure, but he will not be allowed to leave on the cheap.

Barcelona have already done business with Valencia this summer, completing the signing of Portuguese midfielder André Gomes in a deal worth around €50million.

Barcelona have also signed defensive duo Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne.
