Barcelona are eyeing up a potential move for Chelsea winger, Willian, as an alternative to Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
The runaway La Liga leaders have long been linked with a move for Coutinho, and had several bids for the Brazilian rejected back in the summer. They are believed to be keen to rekindle that interest in January or next summer, but according to reports, they are also eyeing up alternatives.
Liverpool are reluctant to lose their prized asset, and have dug their heels in so far, despite the player himself thought to be keen on the move.
However, according Goal, the Catalan club are looking at a fellow Brazilian as an alternative.
They claim that Chelsea winger Willian is on their list of alternatives should they fail to land Coutinho. The 29-year-old has dropped down the pecking order and could be allowed to leave the Blues if Antonio Conte can sign a replacement.
