Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas are targeting Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu this summer.
According to NTVSpor in Turkey, Besiktas have increased their interest in the 32-year old, as they expect his role at the Nou Camp to diminish over the coming season.
The defender is currently third choice centre back behind Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano, and is set to be pushed further down Luis Enriques pecking order with the arrival of Samuel Umitit, who arrived at Barcelona earlier this week.
Besiktas are keen on making a €7million move for the defender. However following the recent political unrest in Turkey it is unclear on how keen he would be to make the move.
