Aston Villa could be about to pull off one of the deals of the summer, as Tim Sherwood looks to make the talented FC Barcelona winger Adama Traore his tenth summer signing in a deal worth around £12million.
According to the Daily Mail, Traore has already passed his medical at Villa Park, as he preferred a move to the midlands over a career at Stoke City.
Earlier in the week, Sherwood was quizzed about the potential signing and he replied:
‘He’s a good player but at the moment he’s a Barcelona player.’
However he may not be a Barcelona player for too much longer, although it looks a struggle to get this deal done and the paperwork completed in time for the Manchester United game on Friday night, so a debut against Crystal Palace the following week looks much more likely.
